Role & Responsibilities
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the organization's policies and unit scope of service
• Accountable for own practice and ensuring tasks are within competence level
• Utilize evidence-based practices in providing care
• Coordinate individualized patient care, including discharge planning
• Identify significant changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate actions
• Prioritize patient care based on ongoing assessment and needs
• Engage in the referral process and utilize resources to provide comprehensive care
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring rights and dignity are upheld
• Facilitate effective communication between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSC Nursing)
• Valid license to practice as a nurse in the UAE (MOH or DHA, as applicable)
Experience
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience post-qualification in an appropriate setting
• Experience in Endoscopy nursing is preferred
• Experience may be waived for graduates of UAE nursing colleges/universities after completing the internship
Skills
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and safety regulations
