Role & Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced physiotherapy and rehabilitation care for persons with spinal cord injuries
• Conduct detailed physical examinations, functional assessments, and technical evaluations
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized spinal rehabilitation programs
• Support long-term rehabilitation goals with a holistic and patient-centered approach
• Coordinate and assist in rehabilitation administration and centre operations
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and families coping with spinal cord injuries
• Maintain accurate clinical records and rehabilitation documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of rehabilitation practices at the INSPIRE Centre
Qualifications:
• Master of Physiotherapy (MPT – Orthopaedics or Neurology)
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
Experience:
• Minimum 1 year experience in spinal cord injury rehabilitation (Required)
Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Expertise in physical examinations and spinal rehabilitation techniques
• Ability to perform technical and functional assessments
• High level of empathy, patience, and commitment to patient recovery
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to relocate and commit long-term to Tiruvannamalai
