Role & Responsibilities
• Provide continuous medical care to ICU patients including monitoring vitals and treatment response
• Assist ICU consultants and specialists during patient management and emergency procedures
• Perform regular clinical assessments and maintain accurate case sheets and documentation
• Manage emergency situations including CPR, ventilator support, and stabilization of critical patients
• Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff for smooth ICU operations
• Communicate patient condition updates to attendants as per hospital policy
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, medical ethics, and patient safety standards
• Participate in ICU ward rounds, audits, and quality improvement activities
Qualification
• BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) – mandatory
• Valid registration with respective State Medical Council
Experience
• Prior experience in ICU, Emergency, or Critical Care preferred
• Exposure to hospital or acute care settings desirable
Skills
• Basic knowledge of ICU equipment and emergency protocols
• Ability to handle high-pressure clinical situations
• Sound clinical judgement and patient monitoring skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and ethical medical practice
