Roles & Responsibilities
• Examine patients using X-rays and dental instruments to determine the type of dental prostheses required
• Consult with patients regarding dental concerns and medical histories
• Take impressions of patients' jaws and teeth to determine dimensions for dental prostheses fabrication
• Send wax models of dental prostheses to the laboratory for fabrication
• Fit newly-fabricated dental prostheses in patients' mouths and assess adjustments required
• Perform teeth whitening procedures to treat extrinsic tooth discoloration
• Use bonding procedures to repair cracks and chips, fill small gaps, and alter tooth size
• Collaborate with dental and healthcare specialists to develop suitable treatment plans for patients
• Ensure clinical excellence, patient safety, and adherence to ethical standards
Qualifications
• MDS in Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, or Periodontics from a recognized institution
• Valid registration with Dental Council of India (DCI) or relevant state dental council
Experience
• 0 to 3+ years of clinical experience (female candidates preferred)
Skills Required
• Strong expertise in orthodontics, prosthodontics, or periodontics
• Proficient in dental diagnostics, impressions, and prostheses procedures
• Excellent patient communication and consultation skills
• Attention to detail and precision in clinical procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary dental team
