Roles & Responsibilities
• Assess patients’ physical challenges and functional limitations
• Develop and implement appropriate physiotherapy treatment programs
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as GPs and Occupational Therapists
• Involve family members and caregivers in the patient’s treatment and recovery plan
• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and documentation
• Stay updated with the latest physiotherapy technologies and treatment techniques
• Contribute to evidence-based projects to improve quality of care
• Ensure compliance with physiotherapy regulations and clinical standards
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) — required
• Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) — preferred
• Valid registration with the relevant Physiotherapy Council
Experience
• 3–6 years of hands-on clinical experience in physiotherapy
• Experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation
Skills
• Strong patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Knowledge of modern physiotherapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Documentation and reporting skills
• Patient-focused, ethical, and empathetic approach to care
