Roles & Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive developmental and functional assessments for pediatric patients
• Evaluate fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, cognitive, and daily living skills
• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for children
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and quality of life
• Work with children having developmental delays, sensory integration issues, and functional impairments
• Monitor patient progress and modify therapy plans based on outcomes and goals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and progress notes
• Educate parents and caregivers on home-based therapy activities and strategies
• Collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, teachers, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure ethical, safe, and child-centered therapy practices
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Valid certification and licensure in Occupational Therapy
• Specialized knowledge or training in Pediatric Occupational Therapy preferred
Experience:
• Experience working with pediatric patients is mandatory
• Exposure to rehabilitation and child development therapy settings preferred
• Freshers with strong pediatric training may also be considered
Skills:
• Strong expertise in pediatric occupational therapy and rehabilitation techniques
• Knowledge of medical concepts relevant to occupational therapy practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage effectively with children and families
• Empathy, patience, and a compassionate, child-centered approach
• Team collaboration skills for interdisciplinary healthcare environments
• Strong observation, assessment, and documentation abilities
