Occupational Therapist

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assess developmental, sensory, motor, and functional abilities of pediatric patients
• Plan and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for children
• Provide therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and daily functional abilities
• Design rehabilitation and developmental plans tailored to each child’s specific needs
• Work closely with children to support overall development and independence
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Educate caregivers on home-based activities and therapy strategies
• Monitor patient progress and modify therapy plans as required
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and clinical documentation
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for holistic child development

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Relevant certification or registration in Occupational Therapy
• Basic knowledge of medical concepts relevant to pediatric therapy

Experience:
• Experience working in pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Prior exposure to child development or rehabilitation settings is an advantage
• Freshers with strong pediatric training may also be considered
