Roles & Responsibilities
• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Support patients in improving daily living, motor, and functional skills
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance independence and quality of life
• Monitor patient progress and modify therapy plans as required
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home-based activities
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals
Skills Required
• Strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) or Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT)
Experience
• 0–5 years of relevant occupational therapy experience
