Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assess patients’ functional abilities with a focus on neuro-rehabilitation cases
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognition, and daily living activities
• Work with patients suffering from neurological conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, and brain injury
• Monitor patient progress and modify therapy plans based on recovery outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Mandatory registration with AIOTA
Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Neuro Rehabilitation (mandatory)
• Experience in hospital or rehabilitation center setup preferred
Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy and neuro-rehabilitation techniques
• Ability to assess neurological impairments and functional limitations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-focused and compassionate approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
