Role & Responsibilities
• Define, shape, and execute the Medical Affairs strategy across the CEEMEA cluster
• Drive regional medical initiatives, prioritization, and investments in alignment with Global Business Units (GBUs) and Regional leadership priorities
• Provide expert medical input into pipeline, launch readiness, and post-marketing strategies
• Lead regional evidence generation strategy, including clinical, real-world, HEOR, and non-clinical projects
• Establish and maintain high-level relationships with regional and international KOLs, scientific societies, and advisory boards
• Ensure highest standards of medical governance, ethics, and compliance across all regional activities
• Manage regional Medical Affairs budget, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring ROI-driven planning
Qualification
• MD required with specialty training in the functional area
Experience
• 15+ years total professional experience
• Minimum 10 years clinical, regulatory, or scientific experience
• 8+ years of Medical Affairs experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices
• Proven regional or global leadership experience strongly preferred
Skills
• Fluent in English
• Proven people management and strategic operational oversight experience
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and scientific insight
• Organized and methodical approach to problem-solving, project scoping, and priority management
• Ability to interpret clinically sensitive and commercially relevant data
