Role & Responsibilities
• Admit patients under supervision of consultants/specialists with complete admission documentation
• Record history, physical examination, admission notes, care plans, and diet orders
• Initiate investigations and order treatments as instructed by consultants
• Maintain accurate handover notes and daily inpatient progress records
• Conduct daily ward rounds independently and with consultants when required
• Follow up investigation results and adjust patient management accordingly
• Prepare patients for procedures or surgery and obtain informed consent
• Receive and manage referrals from Emergency Department and specialty clinics
• Provide consultation support to other departments or hospitals
• Ensure timely and accurate medical record documentation
• Participate in consultant rounds, medical meetings, and conferences
• Provide rotational in-house on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Maintain professional conduct and effective communication with all staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives meeting JCI and regulatory standards
• Implement clinical pathways, guidelines, and hospital protocols
Qualification
• MBBS / M.B.Ch.B
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience post internship (mandatory)
• Emergency or acute care exposure preferred
License / Registration
• Valid MOH License (mandatory)

• Strong emergency and acute patient management skills
• Sound clinical judgement and decision-making ability
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
