Role & Responsibilities
• Provide telehealth consultations for common medical issues, such as prescription requests, pathology referrals, medical certificates, and general medical advice
• Work remotely using a purpose-built telehealth platform
• Offer empathetic and effective communication to ensure high-quality care for patients
• Work independently while receiving robust admin and clinical support
• Follow medical board telehealth guidelines and provide excellent care
• Flexible hours, with the ability to start at 3-4 hours/week or more
Qualification
• General AHPRA Registration (unrestricted)
• Fellowship of RACGP/ACRRM (preferred but not required)
Experience
• Experience in general medical practice
• Ability to work independently in a telehealth setting
Skills
• Empathetic & effective communication skills
• Ability to manage medical consultations remotely and provide accurate advice
• Familiarity with telehealth systems and private billing
