Endodontist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform primary and complex root canal treatments
• Handle retreatment cases, calcified canals, and failed RCTs
• Diagnose pulpal and periapical pathologies using clinical and radiographic methods
• Manage dental emergencies including pain, swelling, and trauma
• Perform post & core build-ups and temporary/permanent restorations
• Maintain strict asepsis, infection control, and sterilization protocols
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation, consent, and treatment records
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with other dental specialists
• Educate patients regarding procedures, prognosis, and post-operative care
• Conduct initial patient evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Carry out routine dental procedures within scope of practice
• Contribute ideas for patient education and oral health awareness campaigns
• Ensure all digital activities comply with DCI and ethical advertising norms

Qualifications
• MDS in Endodontics from a recognized dental institution
• Valid registration with the State Dental Council

Experience
• Relevant clinical experience in endodontics preferred
• Experience in handling complex RCT cases will be an advantage

Skills Required
• Strong expertise in endodontic procedures and diagnosis
• Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
• Knowledge of clinical documentation and ethical dental practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary dental team
• Basic understanding of digital documentation and clinic branding support
