Associate Professor (Physiotherapy)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct patient assessments and provide physiotherapy treatment in the Physiotherapy OPD at the KRMU campus
• Assist faculty members during practical physiotherapy laboratory sessions
• Develop, prepare, and maintain teaching materials such as lab manuals and handouts
• Provide clinical training and supervision to students posted in the OPD
• Coordinate and participate in health camps in nearby communities
• Liaise with MoU partner organizations for BPT student clinical training
• Accompany and guide students during sports events and activities requiring physiotherapy support
• Maintain accurate documentation related to OPD services and physiotherapy laboratories

Skills Required
• Strong clinical skills in physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an academic and clinical team
• Compassionate, patient-centric approach to care
• Strong academic orientation and interest in teaching and training

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognised university
• Registration with HSCP is mandatory (must be applied for by the date of joining)

Experience
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience is preferred
