Role & Responsibilities
• Assist the Consultant in providing comprehensive urology patient care as per hospital standards
• Deliver high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and emergency urology services within approved clinical privileges
• Provide timely inpatient and emergency consultations as per hospital policy
• Conduct daily morning rounds and identify patients suitable for discharge
• Ensure discharge planning and documentation are completed at least 24 hours prior to discharge
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible medical records
• Provide on-call coverage and ensure response times meet hospital requirements
• Perform additional clinical duties related to urology as assigned
Academic Responsibilities
• Supervise, orient, and provide bedside teaching to interns, residents, and fellows
• Participate in departmental education, teaching, and training programs
• Attend and contribute to national and international medical conferences
• Maintain continuous professional development and medical education requirements
Qualification
• Graduation from a recognised medical school
• Completion of required postgraduate training in Urology
• Saudi / American Board, or Canadian / UK certification, or equivalent as approved by the Medical Staff Credentialing Committee
Experience
• Minimum 2 years of specialty or subspecialty training plus post-training experience
Skills
• Strong clinical expertise in adult urology
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent documentation and clinical communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and academic excellence
