Journey Beyond, one of Australia’s leading experiential tourism groups, is seeking a Workplace Injury Manager based in Adelaide. The role involves leading injury management and return-to-work (RTW) processes across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager of Health, Safety & Environment, the successful candidate will manage workers’ compensation cases, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and implement injury prevention strategies across multiple business units.

Responsibilities
• Manage return-to-work (RTW) and workers’ compensation processes ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Provide high-level case management for complex workplace injury claims
• Coordinate with insurers, medical providers, and legal representatives regarding injury cases
• Mentor and support the Injury Management Advisor within the organisation
• Partner with HR, Health & Safety teams, and business leaders to support employee recovery
• Develop and implement workplace injury prevention strategies
• Deliver training and guidance to managers on injury management processes
• Analyse injury data and identify trends to improve workplace safety outcomes
• Prepare executive reports and recommendations for organisational improvement
Required Qualification
• Relevant qualification in Workplace Rehabilitation, Occupational Health, Injury Management, or a related field
• SA Return to Work Coordinator Accreditation

• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes
• Understanding of the Return to Work Act and state-based workplace safety legislation
• Experience managing complex workplace injury claims
