Telemedicine Doctor

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct teleconsultations and clinical verification calls for adult patients enrolled on the Aktive platform.
• Perform patient assessments focused on weight management, metabolic health, and lifestyle-related conditions.
• Provide structured lifestyle counselling related to diet, physical activity, and behavioural modification.
• Accurately document patient interactions, clinical notes, and verification details in electronic health records.
• Support and coordinate with MD Internal Medicine or other qualified specialists by providing clinical inputs and verification support.
• Ensure all consultations strictly adhere to Indian Telemedicine Practice Guidelines and platform clinical governance protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Clarify scope of care clearly to patients, ensuring no independent prescribing is performed under this role.

Qualification

• MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.
• Valid registration with MCI / NMC or State Medical Council

Experience

• Prior experience in telemedicine or online consultations is preferred.
• Experience in lifestyle medicine, weight management, or metabolic health will be an added advantage.

Skills

• Strong verbal communication skills in English and local language.
• Patient-centric counselling and clinical assessment abilities.
• Comfortable using digital health platforms, teleconsultation tools, and electronic medical records.
• Basic knowledge of adult weight management, lifestyle care, and metabolic health.
• High attention to documentation accuracy, compliance, and ethical practice.
