Telehealth Nurse
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Triage and clinically assess callers through telehealth services on the 1800 Medicare line
• Extract and interpret key clinical information to support safe care decisions
• Provide evidence-based care guidance using approved clinical pathways
• Refer or escalate cases appropriately based on clinical assessment
• Maintain accurate and secure clinical documentation in digital systems
• Deliver safe teletriage services across a 24/7 national inbound service model
Qualification
• Registered Nurse with unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 3+ years recent full-time clinical experience (or equivalent)
Experience
• Recent experience in acute care, Emergency Department, primary health, or rural/remote settings
• Experience in phone triage, telehealth, or clinical assessment roles (preferred)
• Experience using digital systems, CRMs, and telehealth platforms
• Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
