About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality telehealth and virtual consultations to patients across Australia
• Conduct phone and video triage assessments in line with clinical guidelines and platform policies
• Issue medical certificates and provide clinical advice within scope of practice
• Ensure patient-centred, safe, and evidence-based care in all consultations
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Use telehealth platforms and digital tools efficiently for remote care delivery
• Uphold regulatory, medico-legal, and ethical standards in telehealth practice
• Engage in continuous professional development and telehealth upskilling
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients to support optimal outcomes
Qualification
• General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with current AHPRA registration
Experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general practice
• Prior experience in telehealth services preferred or willingness to upskill
Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Competency in phone triage and remote clinical decision-making
• High proficiency in English Language Skills (ELS)
• Comfortable adopting new technologies and digital healthcare tools
• Strong patient-focused mindset with commitment to quality care
