About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality telehealth consultations to patients across Australia
• Conduct clinical assessments and prescribe S4 and S8 medications where appropriate
• Manage follow-up care and continuity of treatment
• Collaborate closely with nurses and doctor support teams to deliver patient-centred care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using digital systems and platforms
• Contribute to clinical training, peer learning, and governance activities
• Work on a structured roster including peak consulting hours
• Utilise digital tools to improve efficiency and patient outcomes
Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Minimum PGY4
Experience
• Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, high-volume GP, or telehealth preferred
• Ability to manage high patient throughput with short consultation models
Skills
• Strong clinical assessment and evidence-based decision-making skills
• Ability to deliver efficient 10-minute consultations
• Excellent documentation and administrative skills
• Confidence using multiple digital platforms and troubleshooting basic tech issues
• Strong communication, reliability, and collaborative mindset
• Person-centred and harm-reduction clinical approach
