About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, patient-centred virtual consultations for low-acuity presentations
• Manage general health concerns, prescriptions, repeat scripts, and medical certificates
• Provide lifestyle and preventative health consultations
• Supervise allied health professionals where required
• Work strictly within defined clinical scope and AHPRA-aligned standards
• Document consultations accurately within the secure digital platform
• Escalate complex or out-of-scope cases to Senior Medical Advisors
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and safe prescribing
Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent recognised medical degree
• General Registration with AHPRA
Experience
• PGY3+ or demonstrated clinical competence
• Experience in general practice, urgent care, emergency department, or hospital medicine
• Experience in obesity management or men’s health highly regarded
Skills
• Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with remote clinical support
• Strong understanding of safe telehealth practice and escalation pathways
• Ability to use digital health platforms confidently
• Professional, ethical, and patient-focused approach
