Telehealth Doctor

Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct telehealth consultations to assess patients for suitability for alternative treatment pathways
• Perform comprehensive remote clinical assessments and evaluate individual patient needs
• Develop, prescribe, and manage personalised treatment plans aligned with patient goals
• Manage repeat prescriptions and conduct ongoing treatment reviews when clinically appropriate
• Provide patient education and guidance on safe and appropriate use of prescribed therapies
• Collaborate with Clinical Nursing Manager and multidisciplinary support teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation
• Ensure all clinical practice aligns with Australian regulatory requirements and professional standards

Qualification
• Medical Practitioner with current registration with AHPRA

Experience
• Experience or strong interest in prescribing alternative therapies
• Prior experience in telehealth or remote clinical environments preferred
• Familiarity with alternative healthcare models and patient-centred care

Skills
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
• Sound understanding of Australian regulations governing alternative therapies
• Technically confident, organised, and responsive in a remote work environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams
