Team Lead - Supply Chain Planner
About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Responsible for end-to-end deliveries of Pharma and Personal Care export products
• Receive demand from Marketing and release RM and PM purchase requisitions for export products as per sales order requirements
• Coordinate with QC for material release and with Purchase and Agrotech teams for timely receipt of materials as per schedule
• Schedule and manage Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for Pharma export products to ensure availability of manufacturing inputs
• Allocate production plans to manufacturing facilities based on capacity analysis
• Analyse procurement proposals against MRP in SAP and release Purchase Requisitions within one day of MRP run
• Review raw and packing material delivery status with the Procurement team to ensure on-time material availability for production
• Follow up with production teams and stores for timely material dispensing and product delivery
• Generate STOs for arranging materials from DD and BRC locations and follow up for dispatch
• Create process orders in SAP to provide production indents for SFG and FG as per sales order plans
• Monitor and review non-moving input materials for Pharma exports and drive liquidation actions
• Plan materials for new product launches
• Coordinate with Marketing for product prioritisation based on market requirements and manage preponement or postponement of production plans
• Revise Bills of Material promptly whenever changes are proposed
• Coordinate daily with Production, QA, QC, and support departments to track production status and ensure on-time deliveries
Qualification
• Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience
• 4 years experience in supply chain planning within Pharma or FMCG manufacturing environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP-based MRP and production planning
Skills
• Supply chain planning and material requirement planning expertise
• Strong SAP (MRP, PR, STO, process orders) working knowledge
• Procurement coordination and vendor follow-up skills
• Production planning and capacity analysis
• Strong cross-functional coordination abilities
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
