Team Lead- Medical Affairs

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and tactical medical affairs inputs to Product Management for ethical promotion of oncology products
• Support marketing and brand strategy by designing, reviewing, and executing medical–marketing programs
• Initiate, review, and approve promotional and educational materials in compliance with SOPs, regulations, and industry codes
• Develop, review, and approve clinical protocols and supporting documents for ongoing and new clinical projects
• Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and Clinical Development teams on studies, training, and safety reporting
• Provide timely, accurate, and balanced medical information to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Train sales force on disease areas, basic sciences, assigned products, and pre-launch/launch activities
• Support new product planning, pre-commercialization programs, market research, stakeholder mapping, and early access initiatives
• Provide medical expertise for regulatory submissions, product registrations, labeling reviews, and defense of marketed products

Qualification
• Postgraduate degree in Pharmacology or other medical specialty or Graduate degree in Medicine

Experience
• 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oncology Therapy Area
• Prior experience in oncology product launches preferred

Skills
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical medicine, clinical pharmacology, and oncology therapeutic area
• Expertise in clinical trial design, methodology, and medical governance
• Understanding of drug development, commercialization, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong medical writing, presentation, and scientific communication skills
• Analytical thinking, sound medical judgment, and decision-making ability
• Excellent interpersonal, networking, and people management skills
