Subject Matter Expert (SME Pharma)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide insights on pharmaceutical retail trends, prescription and OTC demand, and customer buying behavior
• Advise on product mix, seasonal demand planning, and new product launches (Rx, OTC, wellness, supplements)
• Recommend store layout, merchandising, and inventory strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
• Develop strategies to increase prescription and OTC sales while minimizing stockouts and expiries
• Support adoption of technology solutions such as POS systems, e-prescription integration, and loyalty programs
• Monitor KPIs including sales revenue, margins, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction
• Design promotional campaigns, discount strategies, and customer engagement initiatives
• Enhance omnichannel presence through e-commerce, mobile apps, and digital health tools
• Analyze market data and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with supply chain teams for efficient sourcing and distribution
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate procurement terms
• Conduct staff training on product knowledge, compliance, and customer service
• Manage project timelines, scope changes, and ensure timely delivery under tight deadlines
• Lead and motivate teams, oversee daily operations, and foster a productive work environment

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

Experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical retail, consulting, or project management
