STAFF NURSE I

Role & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive patient care in line with established nursing standards, policies, and evidence-based practices
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including discharge planning
• Collaborate with case management to reduce length of stay and waiting times
• Document patient care accurately, appropriately, and in a timely manner
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and supply shortages to the Head Nurse or designee
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve quality of patient care
• Advocate for patients and families while promoting patient-centred care
• Promote a safe care environment and comply with infection prevention and safety policies
• Contribute to cost efficiency through responsible resource utilisation
• Support achievement of clinical quality indicators and patient satisfaction goals
• Participate in orientation, training, and mentoring of new staff and nursing students
• Demonstrate transcultural nursing principles in clinical practice
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, special projects, and nursing strategic priorities
• Participate in continuous professional development and education
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures

Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (where applicable)
• Valid Registered Nurse licensure from country of origin
• Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensure

Experience
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience with Associate Degree or Diploma
• No experience required for Saudi nationals with Bachelor’s Degree
• Enrollment in New Graduate Development Program required for candidates with less than 1 year of experience
