Sr. Associate I, Medical Literature Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and execute targeted literature search strategies for clinical protocols and product evaluations
• Support preparation of Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER), State of the Art (SotA) reviews, and Safety & Performance documentation
• Conduct annual clinical and non-clinical literature searches in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs
• Provide medical literature support to Medical Safety, Complaint Intake, and HEOR teams
• Perform adverse event (AE) summarization and complaint trend analysis
• Identify new safety signals and escalate emerging risks appropriately
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, global medical device regulations, and vigilance guidelines
• Review complaint documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory alignment
• Support reconciliation activities and regulatory audit processes
• Apply working knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and eye care procedures
• Contribute to post-marketing surveillance and literature monitoring activities

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Healthcare-related field

Experience
• Experience in Medical Device Complaint Handling
• Experience in Device Vigilance and Pharmacovigilance
• Experience in Medical Literature Monitoring
• Exposure to US-based customer communication preferred
• Knowledge of national and international medical device regulations

Skills
• Strong analytical and literature review skills
• Knowledge of medical device vigilance (pre- and post-marketing)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail
