Speech Therapist

Roles & responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices
• Provide therapy sessions using appropriate techniques, tools, and assistive devices
• Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with RCI guidelines
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and communication strategies
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care
• Participate in continuing education, workshops, and professional development activities
• Ensure adherence to professional ethics and RCI standards

Qualifications:
• BASLP / MASLP – RCI Registered

Experience:
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply
• Experience in hospitals, clinics, or rehabilitation centers is advantageous

Skills required:
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for a variety of speech and language disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members
• Patience, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to therapy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with modern speech therapy tools, techniques, and technology
