About the Role

Role & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive, ethical, and high-quality radiology services to patients
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with diagnostic imaging
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and imaging reports
• Serve as a diagnostic radiology consultant to referring physicians
• Interpret general radiological examinations including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI
• Perform and interpret fluoroscopy, angiography, special procedures, and radioisotope studies within approved privileges
• Participate in physician conferences, clinical rounds, and multidisciplinary discussions
• Collaborate with radiology technologists and guide positioning and specialized imaging when required
• Participate in hospital quality improvement and accreditation programs
• Provide on-call emergency radiology coverage as per duty roster
• Support orientation and training of new technologists and radiologists
• Follow occupational safety, health (OSH), and infection control policies
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and adhere to safety systems
• Report OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and participate in audits and drills
• Comply with patient care and infection prevention (PCI) policies to maintain high cleanliness standards

Qualification
• MBBS with completion of recognized specialty qualification in Radiology
• Fellowship / Diploma / equivalent postgraduate qualification recognised by UAE healthcare authority
• Valid life support certification (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, or equivalent)

Experience
• 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience at Specialist level
• Minimum 1 year Specialist-level experience in a Tier 1 country as per UAE regulations

• Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Effective communication with clinicians and healthcare teams
• Commitment to patient safety, quality, and continuous professional development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
