About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide pharmaceutical care and services in the Indian Army.
• Dispense and manage medications to soldiers as per the prescribed guidelines.
• Assist in the maintenance of medical stock and inventory management in the medical units.
• Perform basic medical duties under the supervision of senior healthcare staff.
• Adhere to Army protocols and regulations in delivering pharmacy services.
Qualification
• 10+2 / equivalent exam pass with a minimum of 50% marks.
• D.Pharm with at least 55% marks in aggregate, registered with the State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India.
• B.Pharm holders are also eligible with a minimum of 50% marks, registered with the State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India.
Age
Candidates born between 01 Jul 2002 to 01 Jan 2008 (both days inclusive), Age - 19-25 Yrs
Experience
• No prior experience is required, though knowledge in pharmaceutical practices is beneficial.
Vacancies
• Number of vacancies will be determined based on merit and availability after the recruitment process.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and medication management.
• Ability to follow protocols and work under pressure in a military environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team.
• Basic medical knowledge and understanding of pharmacology.
