Senior Resident

Roles & Responsibilities
• Effectively interface with patients, technicians, nursing staff, and service users.
• Demonstrate effective application of technical and professional knowledge in anaesthesia.
• Provide pre, intra, and post-operative care for all patients in the unit.
• Be available for emergency calls in the O.T. and I.C.U.
• Supervise nursing, para-medical, and non-medical staff to maintain high standards.
• Actively participate in CME, journal clubs, and conferences.
• Coordinate matters related to infrastructure, medical consumables, and equipment procurement.
• Ensure compliance with service quality processes and hospital policies on environmental and occupational issues in the O.T.
• Adhere to patient safety policies and demonstrate awareness of the Disaster Management Programme (DMP).
• Facilitate teaching and training programs for O.T. nurses, technicians, and I.C.U. staff.
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources within the department and among subordinates.
• Adhere to company policies regarding grooming, punctuality, and work discipline.

Qualification
• MD in Anaesthesiology or DA (Diploma in Anaesthesiology).

Experience
• 0 - 3 years of relevant experience in anaesthesia, with exposure to pain clinics and critical care being an added advantage.
