Job Description
A permanent full-time opportunity is available for an experienced and passionate pharmacist to lead the Education and Training Pharmacy Team within one of Victoria’s largest metropolitan public health services. As part of the Pharmacy Department Leadership Team, the Senior Pharmacist will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of structured education and supervisory programs for pharmacy students, interns, residents, post-graduate trainees, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. The position requires strong leadership capability, advanced training expertise, and the ability to drive innovation in pharmacy education programs.

Responsibilities
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for pharmacy education and training programs
• Supervise, mentor, and performance manage the pharmacy education and training team
• Develop, implement, and review structured education programs across all pharmacy workforce levels
• Coordinate student placements, orientation, assessments, and reporting requirements
• Facilitate performance appraisal and development discussions

• Support pharmacists in developing effective supervision and mentoring skills

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification)
• Current General Registration with AHPRA
• Postgraduate qualifications in clinical pharmacy, education, or leadership (highly desirable)
• Valid Australian working rights
Experience and Skills:
• Advanced experience in clinical pharmacy practice
