About the Role

Role & Responsibilities
• Lead the promotion and adoption of virtual care across intra- and cross-Hospital and Health Service (HHS) settings
• Drive clinician-led engagement and change management initiatives for virtual care models
• Inform the development, implementation, and governance of clinical protocols for virtual-enabled care
• Partner with HHS executives, Virtual Care Coordinator, and key stakeholders across public and private sectors
• Design and implement scalable, sustainable systems and processes for virtual care delivery
• Support virtual care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and community settings
• Enable multiple care modalities including video consultations, advice requests, remote patient monitoring, and phone care
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety, and best-practice virtual clinical workflows

Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• FRACGP or significant progress as an RACGP trainee, OR FACEM, OR FACRRM
• Current ALS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation certification
• Enrolment and maintenance of CME/CPD with an appropriate medical college
• Australian C Class Driver’s Licence

Experience
• Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership and health service delivery
• Experience with virtual care, telehealth, or digitally enabled models of care preferred
• Postgraduate qualifications and experience in adult education and learning principles highly desirable

Skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Expertise in change management and clinician adoption strategies
• Excellent clinical judgement and systems-based thinking
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary and multi-sector environments
• Clear communication and capability to influence clinical practice at scale
