Senior Drug Safety Physician

Role & Responsibilities
• Review, assess, and evaluate Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)
• Perform medical review of adverse event cases and signal assessments
• Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines
• Contribute to risk management plans, aggregate reports, and safety narratives
• Support signal detection, benefit–risk evaluation, and safety decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PV operations, regulatory, and clinical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely safety reporting

Qualification
• MBBS or MD from a recognised medical institution

Experience
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety
• Experience in case processing, medical review, and safety evaluation is required

Skills
• Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and drug safety processes
• Excellent medical review and clinical judgement skills
• Ability to analyse safety data and assess benefit–risk profiles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a regulated environment
