Senior Clinical Data Associate
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead and manage researchers to curate accurate, timely, and insightful life sciences data
• Identify and analyze relevant scientific and clinical information for Beacon database users
• Plan daily targets based on data volume and project requirements
• Conduct regular quality checks as per SOPs to meet quality benchmarks
• Manage team productivity and ensure data quality standards are maintained
• Generate queries to clarify, validate, and enhance extracted data
• Analyze quality metrics and implement improvement plans
• Independently handle assigned projects as per SOPs
• Review, implement, and continuously improve SOPs and processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate with UK-based clients to meet deliverables
• Support launch and post-launch maintenance of Beacon modules
• Maintain trackers and ensure timely updates
Qualification
• Mater of Pharmacy degree in (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, etc.)
• M.Sc (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Clinical Research, Drug Development, Genetics, Immunology, etc.)
Not Eligible:
• M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy)
• M.Sc (Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science, Ecology)
• Candidates with B.Pharm + minimum 2 years of relevant experience and PG Certificate/Diploma in Clinical Research may also be considered
Experience
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Clinical Research, Pre-Clinical Research, Drug Discovery & Development, Clinical Trial Management, Clinical Data Management, or Medical Writing
• Strong understanding of oncology, immunology, and drug development processes
• Familiarity with pre-clinical and clinical studies
• At least one research paper published in a peer-reviewed journal preferred
• Experience in secondary research and quality control
Skills
• Strong scientific and analytical skills
• Understanding of pathophysiology and therapies for cancer, genetic, autoimmune, and neurological disorders
• QC and data validation expertise
• Proficiency in MS Excel and analytical tools
• Project management and people management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
• Inquisitive mindset with focus on continuous improvement
