Scientific Specialist

Role & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep understanding of departmental service offerings and contribute to client solutions.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of client products, therapy areas, and industry guidelines.
• Undertake writing, editing, and development of high-quality scientific content.
• Manage project schedules to meet deadlines, monitor project progress, and flag scope changes.
• Interpret scientific data accurately and ensure the output aligns with client objectives.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to foster strong relationships and ensure project success.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to other team members as needed.
• Participate in team discussions, peer reviews, and the development of accurate budgets.
• Ensure client satisfaction by actively managing timelines, expectations, and changes in project scope.

Qualifications

• Degree and higher degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine (BSc, BA, PharmD, PhD, MD).
• 5-8 years of prior experience, preferably within a medical communications agency.

Experience

• Strong experience in scientific writing, project management, and client interactions.
• Ability to acquire and apply specialized knowledge in therapy areas.

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Scientific writing competency, proofreading, and copyediting skills.
• Effective project management and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and client-focused environment.
