About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide routine inpatient care and after-hours admissions.
• Support specialists and the clinical nursing team in delivering clinical assessments to newly admitted patients or those with a changed condition.
• Work in various medical areas, including acute care and critical care units, if required.
• Collaborate with the medical and nursing teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain high standards of care in alignment with hospital protocols and health standards.
Qualification
• Full and unrestricted general registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA.
• PGY3 (Post Graduate Year 3) and above.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Full Australian working rights.
Experience
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience.
• Recent acute care experience with confidence in managing complex patients.
• Experience in a Critical Care Unit (desirable).
