About the Role & Responsibilities
• Join the Doctors in Training Program as Junior / Resident Medical Officer (PGY1, PGY2, SRMO)
• Provide clinical care across medical and surgical specialties
• Perform patient assessments, investigations, and management planning under supervision
• Participate in research, teaching, audits, and clinical quality activities
• Supervise and train students and junior doctors
• Contribute to multidisciplinary clinical meetings and education programs
• Support hospital accreditation, safety, and compliance initiatives
• Participate in ongoing professional development and AHPRA training pathways
Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent
• Provisional or General AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
Experience
• PGY1, PGY2, and SRMO eligible
• PGY2+: experience in basic procedures such as cannulation and venesection preferred
Skills
• Clinical assessment and patient management
