Resident Medical Officer

Role & Responsibilities
• Manage OPD, IPD, and emergency patient care
• Take patient history, perform examinations, and conduct ward rounds
• Execute consultant orders and update treatment sheets/HIS
• Follow up investigations and report results to consultants
• Perform minor ward procedures such as catheterization, Ryle’s tube insertion, wound care, and blood transfusion consent
• Handle emergencies, ambulance calls, and disaster management support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, eMAR, and patient records in HIS
• Coordinate with consultants, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare discharge summaries and provide patient counselling
• Ensure compliance with NABH/ISO standards and hospital policies

Qualifications & Experience
• MBBS degree with valid medical registration
• Clinical experience in hospital settings preferred

Skills
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency handling skills
• Good documentation and communication abilities
• Ability to work in shifts and multidisciplinary environments
