Job Description
• Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
• Location: Adelaide SA
• Employment Type: Casual/Vacation
• Work Setting: Private medical imaging practice
• Sites: Woodville, Blackwood, Golden Grove, Christies Beach, Edwardstown, Barossa and Mt Barker
• Availability: Monday to Friday roster on a casual basis, minimum 2 shifts per week

Responsibilities
• Perform or assist with patient cannulation
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a medical imaging setting
• Provide medical treatment during emergencies including contrast reactions and adverse events
• Monitor and review patient progress during and after procedures
• Refer patients for additional care where required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with clinic protocols
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and accreditation activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards
• Provide culturally sensitive, respectful care to diverse patient populations
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor of Medicine plus one year internship
• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Up-to-date Basic Life Support certification including anaphylaxis management
Experience and Skills:
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Strong clinical judgement and procedural skills
• IV cannulation and emergency response experience desirable
• Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
• Current driver’s license (for inter-site travel if required)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Patient-focused, empathetic approach
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Availability for minimum 2 shifts per week with flexibility including occasional weekends
