Job Description
Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is hiring Research Assistants for deployment at Safdarjung Hospital. The role involves working in clinical trial settings, supporting screening, enrollment, intervention, and monitoring of study participants in maternal and neonatal healthcare.

Responsibilities
• Pre-screen pregnant women for eligibility in clinical trials
• Obtain informed consent from study participants
• Conduct screening and enrollment as per study protocol
• Assign and administer study interventions accurately
• Monitor mothers and newborns for outcomes and adverse events
• Collect clinical data and maintain case report forms (CRFs)
• Maintain laboratory records and documentation
• Schedule and coordinate follow-up visits for newborns
• Make reminder calls to caregivers for follow-up compliance
• Report missed visits and coordinate corrective actions with CRO
• Assist doctors and follow clinical instructions as required
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI)

Required Qualifications
• B.Sc Nursing from a recognized university
OR
• 12th + Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) / ANM with registration
OR
• Nursing “A” Certificate with 3 years of hospital experience
OR
• Nursing Assistant Class III & above from Armed Forces

Educational Requirements
• Nursing qualification from a recognized institution
• Valid registration as Nurse/ANM where applicable

Experience and Skills
• Desirable: 2 years experience in Obstetrics, Midwifery, Neonatology, or Nursery
• Good understanding of clinical research processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in shifts and handle clinical responsibilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
