Job Description
Santevita Hospital, Ranchi is hiring a full-time Registrar – Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The Registrar will manage routine and emergency cases, assist consultants in procedures, perform deliveries as per credentialing, and participate in academic and clinical governance activities.

Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecological services
• Manage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal cases

• Assist and perform normal vaginal deliveries and C-sections as credentialed
• Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and audits
• Maintain accurate EMR and medical documentation
• Coordinate with Neonatology, Anesthesia, Nursing, and OT teams
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and infection control practices
• Provide patient and family counselling
• Engage in departmental academic and teaching programs
Required Qualifications
• MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Valid State Medical Council registration
• 1–3 years post-PG experience preferred
• Fresh MS/DNB candidates may also apply
Educational Requirements:
• Recognized MBBS degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MS/DNB)
• Valid medical registration
