A locum opportunity is available for a Registrar in General Medicine in Bruce, Australian Capital Territory. The position runs from 23 March to 10 April 2026, covering various shifts including on-call duties. Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
• Registration with AHPRA
• Relevant experience in General Medicine
• Eligibility to work as RMO, SRMO, or Registrar level
Educational Requirements:
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Progression toward Physician training preferred (for Registrar level)
Experience and Skills:
• Experience in inpatient general medicine
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Effective communication within multidisciplinary teams
• Confidence managing acute and chronic medical conditions
Age Eligibility:
As per AHPRA registration eligibility
Salary Insights
• RMO: $130 per hour
• SRMO: $140 per hour
• Registrar: $160 per hour
• Rates inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading
