Registered Nurse - OPD

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide and coordinate patient care in OPD settings within scope of nursing practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Perform systematic patient assessments and re-assessments
• Identify actual and potential nursing diagnoses and define expected outcomes
• Record vital signs and promptly escalate abnormalities
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for reactions
• Provide wound care management and assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Prepare patients for medical examinations and treatments
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals for comprehensive care
• Perform essential life support including BLS, PALS, ACLS, and neonatal resuscitation as required
• Maintain updated clinical and technical nursing competencies
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards

Qualification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or relevant nursing qualification
• Valid license from relevant regulatory health authority
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification
• Any additional regulatory certifications as required

Experience
• 2–7 years of nursing experience
• Experience in OPD or hospital settings preferred
• Experience in patient assessment and emergency response
