NMC Healthcare LLC is hiring a Registered Nurse – NICU to provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care services in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves receiving newborns from labor or operating rooms, performing initial stabilization, assisting in life-support procedures, maintaining continuous monitoring, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and safety standards. The nurse will perform advanced neonatal care procedures, administer medications, support feeding and breastfeeding initiatives, and collaborate closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain neonatal equipment such as warmer, suction, oxygen, AMBU bag, ET tubes
• Receive and stabilize infants from labor room or operating room
• Perform comprehensive newborn assessments including anthropometric measurements
• Insert nasogastric/orogastric tubes and perform gastric lavage when required
• Administer Vitamin K injection and perform IV cannulation
• Initiate and manage peripheral and umbilical IV lines
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic parameters
• Maintain thermoregulation and glucose monitoring
• Assist in intubation and umbilical catheterization procedures
• Provide phototherapy care and monitor infant response
• Perform neonatal screening including audiometry
• Prepare and administer neonatal medications as per policy
• Assist with CPAP setup, hood oxygen, and nasal prongs
• Support breastfeeding and parental education
• Perform newborn bathing, cord care, and eye care
• Maintain accurate documentation and birth notification records
• Serve as transport nurse during ambulance transfers
• Provide psychological and emotional support to families
• Perform neonatal resuscitation when required
