About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality primary care nursing services in a multidisciplinary medical centre
• Perform immunisations including childhood, catch-up, COVID-19, flu, and travel vaccinations
• Conduct wound management, health assessments, and patient education
• Support chronic disease management plans, including diabetes and asthma care
• Assist in minor surgical procedures such as skin biopsies, excisions, circumcisions, and vasectomies
• Provide support in skin cancer and cosmetic procedures under supervision
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure patient-centred care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to quality and safety standards
Qualification
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience
• Minimum 6 months of Australian nursing experience (candidates must be within Australia)
• General Practice nursing experience preferred
• Experience in immunisation, wound care, or chronic disease management desirable
Skills
• Strong clinical and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to learn and expand skills across primary care and procedural nursing
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
