Role & Responsibilities
• Provide treatment room nursing, including immunizations, injections, wound care, ECGs, medicals, ear irrigation, spirometry, and suture removal
• Order, store, and manage vaccine stock
• Conduct patient triage and manage clinical data
• Assist doctors with skin procedures and maintain instrument sterilization
• Manage recalls, reminders, and perform health assessments and care plans
• Provide patient education, preventative health advice, and lifestyle support
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Participate in Quality Improvement (QIP) activities
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualification
• Current AHPRA registration (RN Division 1 or EN Division 2 with medication endorsement)
• Current CPR certificate
Experience
• At least 12 months’ experience in general practice
Skills
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development
