Role & Responsibilities
• Participate in a structured 12-month Graduate Registered Nurse program commencing August 2026
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care under supervision in a general medical and surgical setting
• Work collaboratively within an interprofessional healthcare team
• Engage in clinical rotations, learning modules, and workshops
• Complete mandatory education and ongoing competency assessments
• Develop a professional nursing portfolio with reflective practice
• Set, monitor, and achieve individual learning and development goals
• Adhere to clinical governance, safety, and ethical standards
• Transition into a post-graduate Registered Nurse role upon program completion
Qualification
• Bachelor of Nursing completed within the last 12 months or nearing completion
• Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
• Must meet graduate eligibility criteria (less than 6 months or 900 hours RN experience)
Experience
• Newly graduated or soon-to-graduate Registered Nurse
• Less than six months of post-graduate Registered Nurse experience
• Clinical placement exposure in hospital or healthcare settings
Skills
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centred care approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop professional competence
• Time management and organisational skills
• Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
