Roles & Responsibility
• Work closely with the Capability & Effectiveness Lead to design regional training plans based on training needs assessment
• Develop and update scientific and selling skills training materials aligned with Haleon’s Expert selling model
• Lead induction and onboarding of new Expert Sales Executives (ESEs) covering brand science and selling excellence
• Deliver brand science training, disease education, and updates relevant to Expert-detailed products
• Train field teams on the “6 Steps of a Call” and embed Expert DNA in day-to-day execution
• Coach and develop Expert Sales Representatives and Zonal Expert Sales Managers through joint field work
• Improve in-clinic effectiveness by enhancing detailing quality, use of promotional inputs, and sales tools
• Conduct structured on-the-job coaching with defined objectives, action plans, and performance reviews
• Prepare quarterly and annual regional training plans in coordination with the National Expert Training Manager
• Design assessment tools, question banks, and online tests to evaluate scientific and promotional knowledge
• Roll out national launches, refresher programs, disease updates, WSFE modules, and SOP trainings
• Evaluate, accredit, and certify field staff as per Haleon Academy standards
• Provide feedback to field managers and leadership on competency gaps and development progress
• Support Expert Marketing during cycle meetings, product briefings, and knowledge rollouts
• Assist in recruitment and capability development of medical representatives
• Ensure awareness and adherence to ethical, legal, and compliance responsibilities
Qualification
• B.Sc with Pharma background or B.Pharm
• M.Pharm or MBA with specialization in Science/Pharmacy preferred
Experience
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Regional Training Manager in a Pharma MNC

• Strong understanding of sales and training models
• Excellent training, coaching, and facilitation skills
• Strong scientific and product knowledge orientation
• Effective communication, presentation, and influencing abilities
• Ability to assess competencies, work practices, and accreditation standards
