About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medicines and provide pharmaceutical services at RBI dispensaries
• Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed and inventory
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulations
• Assist medical officers in dispensing and patient support activities
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and Bank-related information
• Comply with all instructions issued by RBI medical and administrative authorities
• Serve at any RBI dispensary in Guwahati as assigned by the Bank
• Adhere strictly to RBI’s Code of Conduct and ethical standards
Qualification
• Matriculation or equivalent
• Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) candidates are also eligible
• Mandatory registration with State Pharmacy Council
Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist
• Experience with PSU, Government organizations, PSBs, or RBI preferred
• Basic working knowledge of computers required
Skills
• Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical dispensing practices
• Understanding of drug storage, safety, and compliance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct
• Ability to work independently on a part-time contractual basis
Remuneration & Work Conditions
• Fixed remuneration of Rs. 400 per hour
• Maximum 5 hours per day and 30 hours per week
• No additional allowances, benefits, or perks
• Engagement is purely contractual with no claim for permanent employment
• RBI reserves the right to terminate services at any time without notice
Selection Process
• Shortlisting based on qualification, experience, and proximity to RBI dispensaries
• Interview for shortlisted candidates
• Final selection subject to medical examination and document verification
• No TA/DA will be provided for interview
